I dodici quadri esposti a Gavoi (Barbagia), tutti appartenenti al Cycle de la Sardaigne, presentati per la prima volta a Parigi nel 1953-1954 nell’ambito di un’insieme pittorico di un’ulteriore trentina di dipinti oggi in collezioni private, sono stati acquisiti dal Comune di Gavoi nel 2006. A Gavoi saranno esposti al pubblico unitamente alla collezione di fotografie dell’Artista sulla Barbagia ed i suoi paesaggi, uomini, usanze.
Les douze tableaux exposés à Gavoi (Barbagia), qui appartiennent au Cycle de la Sardaigne et qui furent présentés pour la première fois à Paris en 1953-1954 dans un ensemble pictural composé d’une ultérieure trentaine de peintures (aujourd’hui dans des collections privées), ont été acquis par la Commune de Gavoi en 2006. A’ Gavoi ils seront exposés au public ainsi que la collection de photographies prises par l’Artiste en Barbagia, avec ses terres, habitants et coutumes.
The twelve paintings of the Gavoi (Barbagia) exhibition, belonging to the Cycle de la Sardaigne, were presented for the first time in 1953-1954 in Paris in a series including thirty more paintings, which now belong to private collections. The twelve paintings were purchased by the City of Gavoi in 2006 and will be displayed together with the collection of photographs taken by the Artist in Barbagia and representing its landscape, inhabitants and folklore.
Die Zwölf in Gavoi ausgestellten Gemälden, die zu dem Cycle de la Sardeigne angehören und die zum ersten Mal in Paris in den Jahren 1953-1954 in einer Menge von ungefähr dreißig Bildern (Heute in Privatsammlungen) präsentiert wurden, sind von der Gemeinde Gavoi erwerbt worden. In Gavoi werden sie zusammen mit der Photographiesammlung des Artisten von Barbagia, mit seinen Landschaften, Bewohnern und Angewohnheiten zum Publikum ausgestellt.
Los doce cuadros expuestos en Gavoi (Barbagia), pertenecientes al Cycle de la Sardaigne y presentados por primera vez en Paris en los años 1953-1954 en el àmbito de una serie pictòrica compuesta, ademàs, de unas treinta pinturas actualmente en colecciones privadas, han sido adquiridas por el Municipio de Gavoi en el año 2006. En Gavoi estaràn expuestas al pùblico conjuntamente a la colecciòn de fotografias del Artista siempre concerniente la Barbagia y sus paisajes, habitantes y costumbres.
